Inspection, Maintenance & Repair (IMR)



A 3-day training course covering:

  • Pipeline types/codes and standards.
  • Risk studies/EPRS.
  • In-service defect mechanisms.
  • Defect assessment methods (DnV, ASME B31, RStreng, API 579).
  • Long range NDT techniques.
  • Pipeline repair/decommissioning methods.
  • New pipeline industry developments.

The course is presented by two practicing pipeline engineers; one with long experience in design, inspection and repair of onshore/offshore pipelines and the other in the detailed assessment of complex defects to current assessment codes.


In-company courses for up to 10 delegates are held on demand at client’s site or other UK locations. Please contact enquiries@matthews-training.co.uk.

This course is operated by Matthews Engineering Training Ltd. Course delegates are limited to 10 so places will be allocated on a 'first come first served' basis.
